Nani and Mrunal Thakur’s latest romance drama, Hi Nanna, has created quite a buzz among the audience. The movie recently hit the theatres, and netizens have only good things to say about it. Considering the popularity of Hi Nanna’s theatrical release, it is now set to have an OTT release, the date of which has reportedly been confirmed.
As per a report by Hindustan Times, Netflix has acquired the streaming rights of the movie. The OTT platform has reportedly bought the digital rights for $ 4.4 million. However, the deal includes only Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions of the movie. Hi Nanna is expected to arrive on Netflix by the end of January 2024, so viewers can watch it around the Republic Day week.

Directed by Shouryuv, the film’s runtime is 2 hours 38 minutes, i.e. 158 minutes. The romantic drama marks Mrunal and Nani’s first collaboration, and their on-screen chemistry has been widely praised. Many netizens also commended the storyline and the heartwarming theme of the movie.
Its plot revolves around a doting father who lives with his daughter. Their love-filled bond is heart-touching. However, the relationship is strained when they befriend a stunning woman her father loves. After she shows interest in his past life, he narrates how he met his daughter’s mother.
Aside from Mrunal Thakur and Nani, Baby Kiara and Angad Bedi also starred in Hi Nanna as supporting characters. The film also had a special cameo by Shruti Haasan. The Shouryuv directorial was produced by Vyra Entertainments. So far, it has been released in Telugu and dubbed in four languages—Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Details about Hi Nanna’s Hindi dub’s digital release have not been revealed as of yet.
