Ted Sarandos, the CEO of Netflix, was recently spotted visiting India. During his visit, he attended The Archies premiere in Mumbai and shared smiles with the movie’s cast and crew. He also traveled to Hyderabad and met veteran actor Chiranjeevi and his son, Ram Charan. Sarandos’ pictures from Chiranjeevi’s Hyderabad home are currently making rounds on the internet, creating a buzz among fans.
Netflix is among the biggest OTT platforms in the world. It is available in over 190 countries and territories, and the Indian content on the platform is widely praised for its inclusion of various media content. Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi’s few movies are also on the platform. However, the actors’ recent meeting with the Netflix CEO has sparked rumors of another collaboration.
Ram Charan meets Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos
As per a report by 123Telugu.com, the Netflix CEO went straight to Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s residence after landing in Hyderabad. The pictures indicate that the meeting was good as Ted Sarandos shared smiles with the actors.
As they could be seen having a conversation, fans are now hoping for a collaboration between the actors and the OTT giant. One of the reasons behind their meeting might be Ram Charan’s highly successful movie RRR. The movie, which also starred Jr NTR as co-lead, was the most-watched Indian film on the OTT service last year.
Actors Sai Dharam Tej and Panja Vaisshnav Tej also met the CEO. The official purpose behind the meeting has not been revealed yet. However, it can be said that the CEO visited India for the premiere of the Zoya Akhtar directorial.
The Netflix CEO took to his Instagram handle to share his pictures from The Archies premiere in Mumbai. Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, and other cast members shared smiles with Sarandos. In the caption, he wrote, “Had the best time in Mumbai at the premiere of The Archies with director @zoieakhtar alongside this amazing cast.”
