Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 Filming Start Date Set

Nearly a year since enduring a life-threatening snowcat accident, Marvel vet Jeremy Renner has officially set his return to work (via EW), as production on Paramount+’s Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 will soon begin. Renner reposted his co-star Emma Laird’s Instagram Story, which confirmed that the cast and crew of the hit crime drama are slated to return to the set sometime next week.

Who’s the cast of Mayor of Kingstown?

Mayor of Kingstown hails from Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan, which marks his latest collaboration with Paramount following his hit family drama Yellowstone. The series also stars Taylor Handley as Kyle McLusky, Hugh Dillon as Ian, Emma Laird as Iris, Aidan Gillen as Milo Sunter, Derek Webster as Stevie, Hamish Allan-Headley as Robert, Nishi Munshi as Tracy and more. Last September, it was revealed that Emmy winner Dianne Wiest won’t be reprising Mariam McLusky in Season 3 after two seasons of being a series regular.

“The series follows the McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry,” reads the logline. “Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.”

Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, Mayor of Kingstown is executive produced by Sheridan, Dillon, Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and Michael Friedman.
